Friends of St. Lucie County Public Health was formed to:

Promote, support, and advance the vision and mission of the St. Lucie County Health Department

Seek additional private and public funding to augment public health clinics, programs, and services

Enhance awareness of the medical needs of uninsured and underinsured residents of St. Lucie County

Develop resources to meet identified St. Lucie County public health needs

Engage in all other affairs necessary to provide general support and services as deemed helpful and beneficial to the St. Lucie County Health Department
